To create a hairstyle that increases the volume of the hair the invention proposes a method wherein less than half, advantageously only about a third, of the hair is given a permanent wave treatment. Described also is a hairstyling drier to implement the claimed method, having an essentially hemispherical shell (2) with a plurality of openings (3) in its shell surface. A hook-shaped device for drawing out bunches of hair (10) can be inserted through the openings. On the circumferential ridge (4) of the shell a bonnet (5) is provided to cover the curled hair (10') outside the shell (2). |
