WALL-MOUNTED MICROWAVE OVEN AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A wall-mounted microwave oven is provided to effectively interrupt gas when the gas escapes from a gas cooker. CONSTITUTION: The wall-mounted microwave oven is formed by:a body(1) forming a cooking chamber; a magnetron(15) feeding the electromagnetic wave to the cooking chamber; a casing(5) surrounding the body(1) and forming a hood duct having an air inlet(27) on the lower area and an air outlet(23) on the upper area between itself and the body(1); a ventilating fan installed inside of the hood duct; a gas sensor(31) for sensing the gas leakage; and a control unit(33) for cutting off a gas valve(39) of a gas cooker when detecting the gas leakage with the gas sensor(31).
