The invention concerns a partition curtain (1) capable of being hitched up and intended for theatre stages, gymnasiums or the like. The proposed curtain comprises a number of curtain tracks (4, 5, 6, 7) which are aligned substantially horizontally and are provided with connecting edges for suspending the partition curtain (1) as a whole or for joining it to an adjacent curtain track. To ensure a simple and reliable connection between curtain tracks, it is proposed that a connecting edge of one of the curtain tracks (4, 5, 6, 7) should take the form of a thickened connection beading (4', 5', 6', 7') matching the unaffected curtain track (4, 5, 6, 7); the beading should merge via a connection region (11) into the unaffected curtain track (4, 5, 6, 7); and that the connecting beading (4', 5', 6', 7') of two abutting curtain tracks (4, 6; 5, 7) should be accommodated in a shaped connecting element (8) which is provided with a through aperture (13) for the connection regions (11) and a receiving cavity (14, 35, 36) which houses the connection beading (4', 5', 6', 7'). |
