The wood brick structure, as a building material, is composed of a number of profiled segments (2) locked together by their profiled shapes. Their dimensions are set to form openings (3) through their length, which give air spaces for thermal and acoustic insulation and passages for cables etc. when formed in a wall, and the like. The channel openings (3) can also be filled with a foam material. The segments (2) are bonded together by pressure contact adhesives.
