PURPOSE: To obtain a high quality recording image by providing a back coat layer wherein strike-through is not likely to occur while performance of an ink accepting layer is maintained in a material to be recorded by ink jet corresponding to high speed printing and a high discharge amount, which is akin to plain paper to which the ink accepting layer consisting of a thin coating layer is provided. CONSTITUTION: In a material to be recorded by ink jet, an ink accepting layer is provided on base paper, and a back coat layer is provided on base paper of a rear face of a face to which the ink accepting layer is provided. As a component of the back coat layer, a pigment of at most 10μm mean particle size and at least 100ml/100g oil absorption is blended. |
