PURPOSE: To obtain a semiconductor ceramic material having small resistivity, large B const. and negative resistance-temp. characteristics and to obtain such a negative characteristic thermistor and semiconductor ceramic parts to control an electric current that can be made small in size, low in height and made into SMD and that the resistance during temp. is raised is decreased to suppress generation of heat and the product can respond for a large current by using the semiconductor ceramic material above described. CONSTITUTION: This semiconductor ceramic material having negative resistance- temp. characteristics consists of YCaMn oxide ceramic material, especially expressed by Y1-x Cax MnO3 (x=0.2 to 0.6). The semiconductor ceramic parts consist of a semiconductor ceramic element 1 having negative resistance-temp. characteristics and electrodes 2a, 2b formed on the semiconductor ceramic element 1. The ceramic element is YCaMn oxide ceramic, especially expressed by Y1-x Cax MnO3 (x=0.2 to 0.6). |
