PURPOSE: To obtain a stable easily water-soluble composition comprising amorphous citric acid, an organic acid, calcium and magnesium, and to provide the method for producing the composition. CONSTITUTION: This composition is obtained by reacting a magnesium source (at least one kind selected from magnesium oxide, magnesium carbonate, magnesium hydroxide, magnesium chloride and magnesium sulfate) and a calcium source (at least one kind selected from calcium carbonate, calcium hydroxide, a calcined calcium derived from a living thing and its hydrate) with at least one kind of organic carboxylic acid selected from citric acid, malic acid, succinic acid, lactic acid, gluconic acid, etc., wherein at least one organic acid is citric acid, in an aqueous medium at a temperature of <=30 deg.C and aging the reaction product followed by spray drying or lyophilization. The obtained product is a stable easily water-soluble composition comprising amorphous citric acid, an organic acid, calcium and magnesium. |
