<p>PURPOSE: To provide an IC card which has bending resistance and in which damage or breakage can scarcely occur. CONSTITUTION: An IC card comprises a member such as an IC in an insulating body frame 8 having flexibility in a card shape, and linear cross shape grooves 10 so formed as to pass the centers of longitudinal and lateral directions in parallel with the long and short sides. A brittle component containing the IC placed in the frame 8 is mounted by avoiding the forming positions of the grooves 10. Thus, the application of the bending stress from the exterior to the component containing the IC can be prevented, and the damage can be eliminated.</p> |
