<p>PURPOSE: To restrain the temperature of intake air from being raised, so as to restrain the engine output from being lowered. CONSTITUTION: A air cleaner hose 1 is provided with a hose main body 7, a heat insulating body 8 made of polyurethane foam, and a protective cover 9. The hose main body 7 is formed of thermoplastic elastomers by a blow- molding method thermoplastic elastomer and provided with first and second cylindrical parts 11, 12 and a relative thin bellows part 15 for connecting the cylindrical parts. The arrangement of the devices near the air cleaner hose 1 in an engine room is densely, and the air cleaner hose easily receives transmission of heat, and there is a possibility that heat is transmitted into the hose through the bellows part 15, however, the transmission of heat can be effectively restrained since the heat insulating body 8 is so provided as to cover the whole bellows part 15. An air layer 16 between a valley part 14 of the bellows part 15 and the heat insulating body 8 makes the axial insulating action, and the deterioration, the damage and the falling of the heat insulating body 8 are prevented by the protective cover 9.</p> |
