<p>PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of cyanide elution from treated earth by mixing and agitating cement and water with cyanide polluted earth to prepare treated earth and also laying, on the inner surface of a region to be reclaimed, an isolating material constituted by putting a carbon dioxide adsorbent such as slaked lime between sheets, putting the treated earth therein, and covering it with a covering material. CONSTITUTION: Cyanide polluted earth 1 is excavated and conveyed from an original position, and cement and water are put in a soil mixer 2 together with the cyanide polluted earth, and the mixture is agitated to prepare treated earth 3. On the other hand, an isolating material 13 is laid on an inner surface 12 of a region to be reclaimed 11. The isolating material 3 is constituted by putting slaked lime 15 as a carbon dioxide adsorbent between sheets 14 such as vinyl. Next, cement treated earth 3 is put in the region to be reclaimed 11. A covering material 16 is constituted by putting slaked lime 15 as a carbon dioxide adsorbent between sheets 14 such as vinyl in the same way as the isolating material 13. The region to be reclaimed 11 is covered with the covering material 16. Therefore, because the region 11 is covered with the covering material 16 incorporated with the carbon dioxide adsorbent, carbon dioxide in air or in earth is prevented from entering the treated earth 3 to neutralize it.</p> |
