PURPOSE: To fit cams by a hand in one direction in one touch, so as to enable external and internal couplings to be firmly connected to each other, by pivotally supporting the central part of a rotation operating plate on the outer surface of a large-diameter short cylinder, slidably fitting operating shafts into elongate holes on both ends of the operating plate, and providing a gripping arm for rotating operation on the operating plate. CONSTITUTION: When a rotation operating griping arm 19 is gripped, and when a rotation operating plate 17 is made to diagonally intersect the opposite side to a main center line (a) of an internal coupling 4 by being turned at 90 deg., operating arm 13 are diagonally erected, and two cams 12 are turned outside a large-diameter short cylinder 3. An external short cylinder 5 of the external coupling 7 is fitted into the large-diameter short. cylinder 3 in this state. When the rotation operating plate 17 is turned from the right inclined position to the left inclined position at 90 deg. after gripping the rotation operating gripping arm 19 by one hand, the operating shafts 14 on the tips of both operating arms 13 are slid in elongate holes 18 of the rotation operating plate 17, both operating arms 13 are made to fall forcibly and parallely in the opposite direction, both cams 12 are fitted into recessed arc-like grooves 8 on the outer periphery of the external short cylinder 5, and the internal and external couplings 4, 5 are connected into the firmly engaged state. |
