PURPOSE: To display the once-stop place of an automobile simply by the lighting of a neon tube in night, to use a road-surface buried type stop-line display device as the aid of the prevention of a traffic accident while easily installing the device on a road surface, to protect the neon tube from vibrations and to employ the device stably for a prolonged term. CONSTITUTION: A rectangular plate-shaped lens plate 4 and a solar cell 23 are juxtaposed on the top face of a plane rectangular-shaped device body 3 along the longitudinal direction of the device body 3. A cushioning supporter 11, in which a coil spring 15 is incorporated, is installed into a lamp chamber formed on the lower side of the lens plate 4, and a linear neon tube 10, in which both ends are bent to the inside, is supported by the supporter 11. A reflecting plate 22 upwards reflecting light from the neon tube 10 is mounted on the neon tube 10 while the device body 3 is stored in a plane rectangular- shaped outer case 1 so that a battery 25 is housed in the lower space 26 of the solar cell 23, and the outer case 1 is buried into the ground. |
