PURPOSE: To prevent an object to be heated from being overheated by remaining heat, by quickly cooling the temperature of a heating chamber after the completion of a heating to a desired temperature by a method wherein the driving of a fan which discharges air in the heating chamber to the outside through a discharging port is continued until a detected temperature by a temperature detecting means becomes a specified temperature, after the completion of a heating. CONSTITUTION: After the completion of a heat cooking, the atmospheric temperature in a heating chamber is measured by a temperature detecting means 15. When the temperature is a first specified temperature×1 deg.C or higher, an air discharging fan 4 is driven, and the temperature in the heating chamber is prevented from ascending. Then, whether an object to be heated in the heating chamber is taken out or not is judged by an output of a detecting device 17 for the opening/closing of a door. When the object to be heated has not been taken out, the driving of the air discharging fan is continued until the atmospheric temperature in the heating chamber becomes a second specified temperature×2 deg.C or lower. By this method, even when a user has not noticed a completion alarm, and left the object to be heated in the heating chamber as it is, the object to be heated can be prevented from being burnt by a remaining heat in the heating chamber.
