PURPOSE: To exercise the straddling motion of a lower leg or the massage of the lower leg by oneself as adjusting the degree of straddling and the strength of massage, etc., by providing a wheel compression case and a knee compression case at right angles to the longitudinal direction of a base plate and a driving means for travel in a foot compression case by a driving means for compression. CONSTITUTION: This appliance is used by housing the foot and the knee in the foot compression cases 3a, 3b and the knee compression cases 2a, 2b, respectively and closing the outside walls of the cases. Thin strip base plates 1, 1 are expanded/restored by rotating wheels 8a, 8b in the forward/backward direction by the driving means 7a, 7b for travel, which exercises the straddling motion of the lower leg. Also, pressure is applied to the foot and the knee via a cushioning material by the driving means for compression, which gives an acupressure effect to the foot and the knee. The speed and angle of the expansion/restoration of the thin strip base plates 1, 1 are adjusted by a controller, and a user can set a motion with the highest training effect by oneself. Similarly, as for the degree of compression, the user can set the degree of comression with the highest acupressure effect by oneself. |
