PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric acoustic device the sound pressure level of which can be raised on the lower-pitched sound side and, which thereby can produce natural sounds even when the piezoelectric element of the device has a small diameter. SOLUTION: A piezoelectric acoustic device is constituted in such a way that a piezoelectric element 1 which converts electric signals into sounds is housed in the main body 2 of a case used as an acoustic box and the main body 2 is closed with a lid body 9. The acoustic device has the main body 2 having a peripheral wall 33 in its peripheral section, an elastic adhesive 13 which is applied to the peripheral wall 3 of the main body 2 so that the adhesive 13 may be protruded inward from the wall 3, and the piezoelectric element 1 the peripheral section of which is stuck to and supported by the part of the adhesive 13 protruded inward from the wall 3 of the main body 2.
