PURPOSE: To let no gap exist between an air bag cover and an instrument panel when both an air bag hold case equipped with an air bag and the air bag cover are to be mounted to the instrument panel. CONSTITUTION: In the mounting structure of an air bag cover 18 disposed to an opening section 19 formed in an instrument panel 2, one end section 18a of the air bag cover 18 is integrated with the instrument panel 2 so as to be fixed to the upper section of an air bag hold case 17. The other end section 18b of the air bag cover 18 is also integrated with the instrument panel 2 so as to be fixed to the upper section of the air bag hold case 17 in such a way that it can be opened. No gap thereby exists provided that three members of the instrument panel 2, the air bag cover 18 and the air bag hold case 17 are integrally fixed together as mentioned above. |
