<p>PURPOSE: To provide an elongation percentage detector with a little delay of an elongation percentage detection. CONSTITUTION: Respective bridle rolls 2 and 3 are arranged on the inlet side and the outlet side of a skin pass rolling mill 1. Pulse generators 4 and 5 are respectively installed on the respective bridle rolls 2 and 3. Respective pulse signals are supplied to an elongation percentage arithmetic unit 6 by the pulse generators 4 and 5. An elongation percentage is calculated for each interval of a sampling time by the elongation percentage arithmetic unit 6. A calculation signal according to a calculated value is supplied to an elongation percentage forecast arithmetic unit 7, and at the same time, it is supplied to an elongation percentage storage device 8. A present elongation percentage calculated value is inputted from the elongation percentage arithmetic unit 6 to the elongation percentage forecast arithmetic unit 7, at the same time, respective elongation percentage arithmetic values before one sample and before two samples are inputted from the elongation percentage storage device 8 to the elongation percentage forecast arithmetic unit 7, and a forecast value is attained.</p> |
