PURPOSE: To provide a construction, for installing an expandable base on a hollow structure, which enables the expansion of the expandable base, holding said base at an installation position in the hollow part of the hollow structure. CONSTITUTION: This construction is designed for supporting a expandable base 16 in the hollow part 4 of a hollow structure 2 and shuts off the hollow part 4 by expanding the base 16 using an outer heating source. The blowing base 16 is supported in the hollow part 4 by installing an engagement pin 8 with a shaft part protruding into the hollow part 4, on the hollow structure 2, and introducing the shaft part 11 of the engagement pin 8 through almost the entire part of the thickness of the expandable base 16. |
