PURPOSE: To enable the cultivation by placing plant seeds, buds or seedings, shipping of grown plants with cultivating tools and all, direct arrangement or placing thereof in a vase, growth of the plants even after the shipping, further flowering of the buds or flowers half in bloom and keeping thereof. CONSTITUTION: This method for cultivating a plant is to house a cultivating body 3 in a cylindrical housing part 2 of a tool 1 for cultivating the plant, feed a cylindrical culture solution from solution inlets 4 formed in the tool 1 for the cultivation into the housing part 2 and cultivate the cultivation body 3 in the housing part in the method for cultivation. The tool for cultivating the plant housing the cultivating body in the housing part is inserted into cultivation soil 6 and the culture solution for the cultivation soil is fed from a solution inlet of the tool for cultivating the plant into the housing part to cultivate the cultivating body. Furthermore, the tool for cultivating the plant housing the cultivating body housed in the housing part is inserted into cultivation soil set in an apparatus for hydroponic culture to carry out the hydroponic culture. The tool for cultivating plant is provided with the housing part capable of housing the cultivating body and the solution inlets for feeding the culture solution into the housing part.
