PURPOSE: To carry out a convenient monitoring of combustion state by a method wherein discharged gas from a combustion part is fed into an analyzer and an imcomplete combustion is detected in response to a rate of specified substances in the discharged gas. CONSTITUTION: Discharged gas from a combustion segment passes through a capillary tube 12 and a filter 13 and is fed into a mass analyzer device 11. Then, the gas is ionized at an ionizing part 14 by an electrical field of high voltage. The ionized discharged gas is separated in response to a molecular weight (mass) of substances in the discharged gas (for example, butadiene, benzene, toluene, or oxygen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and the like), the separated substances reach an ion sensing part 16, combustion generated substances are separated for every molecular weight and detected. A result obtained by the mass analyzer device 11 is outputted to an alarm part 20 and it is judged at the alarm part 20 whether or not the imcomplete combustion is performed and in the case that the combustion is judged as an imcomplete combustion, an alarm is produced to a monitoring center for an entire facility and the like. With such an arrangement as above, it is possible to perform a convenient monitoring of the combustion state. |
