PURPOSE: To simplify the connecting/separating work of an intermediate joint by connecting a flange section with a taper pin and a nut. CONSTITUTION: An intermediate joint flange connection section is bored with multiple taper holes 3d, 13d penetrating flange sections 3, 13, and a taper pin 30 threaded with male screws 30a, 30b is inserted into them. When the taper pin 30 is inserted into the taper holes 3d, 13d of the flange sections 3, 13 with a hand, the screw 30a on the small-diameter side is protruded to the outside of the taper hole 13d, the taper pin 30 can be guided by a simple nut 20, and the taper holes 3d, 13d of the flange sections 3, 13 and the taper pin 30 are coupled by the taper wedge action with no gap. Even if excessive torque is generated, the intermediate joint flange sections 3, 13 are not drifted from each other, and the intermediate joint flange sections 3, 13 can be firmly connected together. When the connection of the intermediate joint is to be released, the small-diameter side nut 20 of the taper pin 30 is removed, and the large- diameter side screw section 30b can be simply released when it is fastened by a nut. |
