PURPOSE: To provide a low-cost air conditioner in which the exterior finish work of an air suction port is eliminated, the problem of an air short-circuit is obviated. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner is directly hung from the ceiling BU of the beam of a building to be fixed. An air suction port 11 is provided at the upper part opposed to the ceiling BU, and an air outlet 16 is provided at the lower part. Thus, a heat insulator is not required at the side 50 between the suction port and an air discharge port, no air short-circuit occurs, and since the suction port is disposed at the position which is not seen, the exterior finish work of the suction port is eliminated. |
