PURPOSE: To provide a protective tube for automobile which does not generate noxious halogen gas during combustion and has, in a well-balanced manner, various properties such as softness, heat deformation property, and mechanical property which are the same as that of a plasticized polyvinylchloride. CONSTITUTION: To 100 pts.wt. of a mixture in which an ethylene-αolefin copolymer having a torsional rigidity of 300 kg/cm<2> or below and a polypropylene resin not containing halogen element and having a crystal melting point of 120 deg.C or higher are mixed at a weight ratio of (40:60) to (90:10), a resin composition which contains 3-30 pts.wt. of olefin-maleic anhydride copolymer and 30-200 pts.wt. of water containing inorganic powder is extruded into a tubular shape by extrusion molding. |
