PURPOSE: To obtain a feed comprising a protein having good masticability to fish, excellent in elasticity and tack, having improved intake, by gelatinizing an aqueous mixture made by mixing a formulated milk serum protein processed foodstuff with an animal material, a salt and a polysaccharide in an alkali solution. CONSTITUTION: An aqueous mixture made by mixing a formulated milk serum protein processed foodstuff (e.g. one obtained by removing low-molecular compounds from cow's milk whey, adjusting the resulting material to equal to or lower than pH4 or equal to or higher than pH6 and then heat-treating), an animal material, a salt (preferably sodium chloride, potassium chloride, magnesium chloride, calcium chloride, sodium phosphate or potassium phosphate) and a polysaccharide and gelatinized in an alkali solution to give a feed such as a bait, an artificial lure and a feed for a flesh-eating aquarium fish. |
