PURPOSE: To provide a mother's milk pad without becoming out of shape and also is agreeable to the touch by constituting the rear sheet of the mother's milk pad both with a thin nonpermeable plastic film and with nonwoven fabrics joined to the inside and outside surfaces thereof. CONSTITUTION: A mother's milk pad is a bowl-shaped formed product, and is made up of a liquid permeable front sheet 2, a liquid impermeable rear sheet 3, and a liquid absorptive core 4; and in the front and rear sheets 2 and 3, the extended parts 5, 6 that have been extended from the peripheries of the core 4 are joined to each other so as to be integrated. The rear sheet 3 is made up of a thermoplastic plastic film 10, and nonwoven fabrics 11, 12 that have been joined over the entire region of the inside and outside surfaces of the film 10. The film 10 is purposed to impart liquid impermeability to the pad 1, and such that is thin and soft is used so that the flexibility of the pad 1 cannot be impaired. Further, to enable the quick heat welding with the nonwoven fabrics 11, 12, it is preferable to use a plastic material having a low melting point lower than those of the nonwoven fabrics. |
