<p>PURPOSE: To simply, efficiently and safely remove the stuck material to the inner and the outer surfaces of an immersion tube by shift-driving a scarfing head fixing a powder spouting nozzle in a scarfing nozzle to vertical direction, peripheral direction and horizontal direction. CONSTITUTION: The scarfing head 30 fixing the powder spouting nozzle 4 in the scarfing nozzle 35 is fitted to the top part of an elevating column 6 and arranged as facing to the stuck slag 2 through a following roller 5 abutted on the stuck slag 2 to the immersion tube 1. The stuck slag 2 is heated by spouting preheating flame from the scarfing nozzle 35, and while spouting the scarfing oxygen 8 to this heating part, the powder 9 of iron powder, etc., crossed with this gas spouting is spouted from the nozzle 4. By this method, the stuck slag 2 is melted and dropped with oxidized heat of the powder 9. Together with this action, the scarfing head 30 is suitably shifted to the stuck slag 2 by using the moving mechanism of a motor, cylinder, etc.</p> |
