摘要 |
PURPOSE: To obtain a high strength and high hardness ceramic-metal composite material excellent in wear resistance and sliding characteristics. CONSTITUTION: Ceramic particles of <=300μm particle size with open pores formed in the particles are uniformly dispersed by 30-80vol.% in 20-7Ovol.% metal matrix to obtain the objective composite material. The max. size of the open pores in the cross sections of the ceramic particles is <=100μm and the volume of the open pores is desirably 0.1-50vol.%. Silicon nitride or sialon particles are preferably used as the ceramic particles and an Fe-Ni alloy is preferably used as the metal matrix.
