A flexible protective sleeve for rotary joints and hinges, consisting of a flexible tapering sleeve with a bellows in which the region (A) for fastening the larger diameter end comprises at least one ring-shaped crease (8) with sloping sides, a "V", "U" or trapezoid cross-section and an outwardly facing recess, said crease being insertable into a stop rib groove (9) in the articulated joint ball or the "bowl" of the rotary joint, where applicable, and capable of being opened and flattened out when the outer surface of the ball or bowl does not include a groove. Said sleeve may be placed around lubricated joints such as cardan or constant velocity joints used to transmit rotation to moving parts, particularly in the field of motor vehicles. |
