The present invention relates to an assembly for stably securing at least one device, such as a medical instrument, at a desired location, comprising: - securing means for securing the assembly at the working position, - retention means for holding the instrument at a desired location, - pivot means with more degrees of freedom for moving the retention means into a desired position, - support means between the securing means and the retention means, for supporting the assembly, and - locking means for locking the retention means in the desired position, the pivot means with more degrees of freedom and the locking means being shaped in such a manner that they interact in order to ensure that the retention means are moved into the desired position and locked in a single movement. |
