The pipe coupling is for small dia. high pressure pipes. These are connected to nipples (1) with a tapered bore (2) with a standard cone angle of 24 deg. The tapered bore (2) receives one end of a sealing ring (6). This sealing ring has internal circumferential ridges (9) which form teeth which bite into the pipe (8). The other end of the sealing ring has a conical end face which abuts against the conical surface (12) of the shoulder of the coupling nut (5). The teeth (9) have a ratchet tooth longitudinal profile and prevent any outward acial movement of the pipe (8). USE/ADVANTAGE - High pressure pipe coupling which can be used withstandard pipe fittings.
