The workpiece supports (37) are rotatable and can be positioned relative to the tool holder (12). They are each driven by a built-in motor (38) whose axis of rotation (32) aligns with the axis of rotation of the relevant workpiece support. With two workpiece supports the two motors are arranged with their relevant centres of gravity diametrically opposite one another in relation to a rotary point of the workpiece holder (11). Each of the motors is set with the associated workpiece support in a circumferential housing which holds the two in alignment.
