One-piece injection moulded plastic card assembly

A card assembly, for the printing of identity cards, telephone cards, cheque cards or the like, consists of two or more rows (R1, R2, R3) of adjacent card bodies (1) produced in one piece by injection moulding of plastics, the card bodies being joined together by separable injection moulded residual webs (2). Also claimed are similar assemblies in which either (i) the assembly is in the form of a one-piece injection moulded plastic sheet with two or more rows of adjacent cavities for receiving carrier elements with IC chips; or (ii) the assembly consists of a calendered plastic sheet with two or more rows of adjacent cavities for receiving carrier elements with IC chips.
