Electronic remote switch for central switching of e.g. lighting units and for insertion into existing installations

The electronic remote switch is placed immediately adjacent to the load. The switch is a compact component arranged between a switch element and one or more loads. The switch contains a current supply (5), pulse shaper (6), relay controller (7), capacitor (8), reset circuit (9), OR element (10), edge-triggered D flip-flop (12) and a time monitoring circuit (11). The current supply output is directly connected to the relay controller, and only supplies it when the switch element is closed, and to the reset circuit, the OR element, time monitor and D flip-flop. The capacitor is connected in parallel with the output and the reset circuit acts upon the OR element. The current supply also feeds the other OR input via the pulse shaper and time monitor. The OR output and pulse shaper drive the flip-flop's D and clock inputs respectively. The flip-flop drives the relay controller.
