Continuous system for wrapping goods in sheet material

The wrapping method enables the article (1) to be provided with a section of packaging material (12) as part of a continuously moving sequence around a workstation. The packaging material is placed round the article and holding cheeks (17) are used to move the article through a folding process. Once folding has been completed the article is passed over to the face grippers (30) on a transfer wheel (28) for removal by a conveyor (29). The goods are completely covered in wrapping paper.
