The buckle is structured on the basis of two bodies or pieces 1 and 2, of plastic material, in such a manner that in the body 1 there are two lateral walls between which the body 2 is located, the latter being mounted in such a manner that it will form a push-button whose actuation will give rise to the fastening or release of a strap or band 6. This body 1 has two end crosspieces 3 and 4, the first one, for fastening one end of the band 6, whilst the other end of the band is passed between the facing toothed sections 9 and 10 belonging to the second crosspiece 4 of the body 1 and to a sector of the body 2 forming the push-button, the latter having elastic arms 11 which tend to push this body 2 towards the position in which the band 6 is locked. <IMAGE>
