The method displays the values etc. on a screen (BS) of a computing system (RZ) or outputs then via a printer (DR) of the computing system (RZ). A total calculating time period is provided which is divided into several comparable partial time periods. A current actual value of the performance is detected per partial time period. The actual values per partial time period are added together for the total time period. A total target value for the total time period is provided. Target values per partial time period are determined for future total time periods to obtain the total target value from the summed actual values. A program module for this method has instructions fed through a processor (PR) of the computing system (RZ) to derive the partial time periods and to detect the actual values. Preferably a predicted total actual value for the total time period is derived from the added actual value. The actual values may be depicted by graphics. The computing system (RZ) may be connected via a communication network (KN) to other computing systems (RN,RO,RS,RW).
