PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which enables a user to select a language and access information translated to the language that the user selected through automatic translation among multiple languages and stored in a database for a database system on a network to which a computer, a portable information terminal, etc., are connected. SOLUTION: This system is equipped with a language selecting means through which the user accessing the database selects a language, an automatic translating program which performs automatic translation among multiple languages to perform translation to the language that the user selected, and an information display means which extracts information that the user desires from information stored in the database and displays the information on-line, so that information translated to the language that the user selected is displayed. |
