The device (1) is made from flat material having outwards curving flanges (11-4) protruding at 90 degs. from the plane of the material for engagement with each end region of both sections (20,21). The flanges consist of coaxially arranged passage holes (12) for accepting and guiding both sections. A sprung tongue (13) is provided for axially fixing both sections in the plug socket in the device. The tongue curves outwards from the material and has a notched edge (13) on its rear side which pushes the shell face of the section (21).
