Object: to make a telephone set more intelligent by further adding other functions to a conventional telephone set, and to provide a telephone set to which other functions can be added looking into the future. Constitution: in the telephone set, buttons and the like are eliminated to the utmost and a full-scale display panel is provided on the main body. Numbers 0-9 and icons corresponding to the respective functions are displayed on the panel. To fulfill one of the functions, the corresponding window is called by pressing the icon with a finger or the attached pen. When the instructions displayed in the window are followed, the function is automatically fulfilled.
