<p>A flange section for fitting on mating edges of air duct components and for taking angle brackets to make a fitting frame is substantially L-shaped in cross-section, one arm of the L being in the shape of a double-walled arm open on one side to receive the edge regions of the air duct component and the other arm constituting a hollow chamber to take an angle bracket arm, and is proposed as a solution for avoiding twisting of long sections. This is achieved in that the wall region (8b) of the angle bracket arm (2a) away from the parting line plane (9) runs parallel to the parting line plane (9) over a partial distance (8b'), is angled (8b'') towards the free end of the insertion arm (7), extends to the wall region in the parting line plane and, by folding back through about 180 DEG , constitutes in the wall region (7a) of the other section arm (7) lying outside the duct (3).</p> |
