A compsn. (I) for preventing and treating cancerous diseases contains at least three active cpds. occurring in the circulatory system (all opt. in salt form, i.e.: (A) at least one aminoacid; (B) at least one vitamin; and (C) at least one of adenine, 2-deoxy-D-ribose, D-mannose, D-glycosamine, malic acid, oxalacetic acid and adenosine triphosphate; provided that if (C) consists solely of malic acid, then (B) is other than ascorbic acid. (I) opt. also contains conventional carriers, diluents and/or auxiliaries.
