The mouth (46) of this suction pipe is set near the section of the saw blade (17) underneath the table (11). A shavings box (52) which is open at the top is placed underneath the second suction pipe. The mouth (36) of the first suction pipe is located behind the saw blade in the sawing direction of the saw. The first suction pipe extends horizontally in the area of its mouth. Above this mouth is a cap (37) which encloses the free end of the blade. The open base of the cap is connected to the mouth.
