The screw extruder shall find application in the food industry. It has extended operational life as a result of the reduced axial force acting on the screw bearing, and the quantity of the expeller can be abjusted. The screw extruder includes a screw worm (4) mounted in a cartridge (3) connected to the housing of a reducer (14) by sleeve (2) and studs (5). A cylindrical adaptor (10), resting washer (11) and nut (12) are mounted to the front of the screw worm (4). In the front part of the cartridge (3) a counter screw (9) is built by means of a cup (8) which is secured to the housing of the reducer (14) by flange (6) with studs (5) and nuts (7). The screw worm (4) has alternating pitch and radius of the filet profile.
