PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To affix a label precisely and efficiently. SOLUTION: A cylindrical guide part 13 (23, 33) is tiltably mounted to the principal axis 12 (22, 32) of a column so as to surround the axis 12, and a pin 14 (24, 34) for engagement with an axial hole 102 of a dial of a center cluster is projected from the underside of the part 12, whereby a jig is formed. In the guide part 13, a plurality of screws 13b (23b, 33b) each are screwed into the thick-walled portion of the part 13 surrounding the axis 12 so as to be directed to the axis 12. Each of the screws is projected toward the axis 12 and the amount of the projection of each screw is adjusted to determine the posture (inclination) of the guide part 13 with respect to the axis 12. Under such conditions, the external shape of the part 13 projected on the surface of a center cluster 100 is made in conformity with the shape curve of a label 50. The jig is erected on the surface of the cluster 100 to bring the label 50 into close contact with circumferential surface of the part 13, thereby affixing the label thereto.
