PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the outside diameter of a coil under operation with high accuracy in a sensorless configuration, and to automatically adjust the correction according to the change in the outside diameter of the coil with excellent accuracy in a facility for correcting a strip uncoiled from the coil by an uncoiler using a leveler feeder, and feeding it. SOLUTION: There is provided a means for controlling the leveler feeder (for example, a sequencer 101) so that the present value of the outside diameter of the coil is operated step by step based on the initial value of the preset outside diameter of the coil, the thickness of the strip, the uncoiling length of the strip (for example, the feed length in the leveler feeder), the optimum correction corresponding to the present value of the outside diameter of the coil is operated step by step, and the correction in the leveler feeder becomes constantly optimum.
