PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine having a motor-driven generator capable of enhancing game enjoyment. SOLUTION: When a variable prize-awarding device 40 is in its first operating condition, each of belt members 48a and 48b is extended in a tense condition and all of areas 42 and 43a to 43c constituting a large prize hole 41 are closed by the belt members so that no game balls are allowed into the large prize hole 41 (Figure 3 (A)). When the prize-awarding device is in its second operating condition, each of the belts members 48a and 49b is extended in a loose condition so that all the areas 42 and 43a to 43c constituting the large prize hole 41 are opened to allow the game balls into the prize hole (Figure 3 (B)). When the prize-awarding device is in its third operating condition, each of the belt members 48a and 48b is extended in a more or less loose condition so that the specific area 42 and the general area 43b are closed to preclude the game balls from entering these areas, while the general areas 43a and 43c are opened to allow the game balls into the prize hole.
