A process for producing a Diels-Alder reaction product which comprises heating an olefin compound and a cyclopentadiene and/or dicyclopentadiene to conduct the Diels-Alder reaction, wherein the effective olefin yield is heightened and the apparatus can be stably operated over long while preventing accumulation of polymers of a readily polymerizable ingredient. The process for producing a Diels-Alder reaction product by heating a mixture comprising an olefin compound and a cyclopentadiene derivative is characterized by continuously supplying the mixture to a vertical tank reactor which has a reaction mixture inlet and outlet respectively at the two ends and is equipped inside with a rotating shaft disposed lengthwise and having two or more stirring blades horizontally extending therefrom.
