PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high security property by displaying numerical characters and an image on a card itself or making the display to be an authentication key in an ID card used to authenticate an individual in various security systems. SOLUTION: An optical signal from the light emitting element of a facing reader/writer is received at the end part of the card, the optical signal is guided to an optical computer by a 1st optical waveguide, the optical computer operates the optical signal to emit operation results, the outgoing light is guided to an optical element by a 2nd optical waveguide, the optical element converts the propagation direction of display light that has been made to go through a 3rd optical waveguide, only display light in a fixed propagation direction is guided to a displaying part by a 4th waveguide, and an image is displayed on the displaying part composed of a light scattering layer through the existence/absence of the display light. |
