PURPOSE: To simplify mounting operation without the collision of a hammer by forming an upwards inclined and penetrated nail hole to the chamfering section of a wedge burying a clearance between the mounting groove of a side board and a tread and lengthening a space between the nail hole and the rear of the tread. CONSTITUTION: A tread 1 is inserted into a groove 16 for installing the tread 1 of a side board 15. A slender wedge body 4 is inserted into a clearance formed between the underside of the tread 1 and the groove 16 for installation, and the tread 1 is fitted to the side board 15. A cross section is reduced towards a front end section in the wedge body 4, and the wedge body 4 is formed in a square shape and a chamfering 7 is formed at the lower corner section of a side face 9. A nail hole 5 penetrated so as to be inclined to the upper section of the other opposed side face 9 from the lower section of one side face 9 of the wedge body 4 is shaped. Consequently, the wedge body 4 can be fixed onto the side board 15 without the collision of a hammer at the time of nailing. Further, the chamfering 7 and the nail hole 5 are also formed at the lower corner section of the opposed side face 9, thus allowing even both right and left usage of the wedge body 4. The wedge body 4 can be fastened firmly by introducing an adhesive into the recessed section of a contact surface 17. |
