METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MAKING MINERAL WATER

PURPOSE: To make mineral water by mineralizing tap water while efficiently removing a harmful substance in water. CONSTITUTION: Mineral water is made by minerilizing water from which metal ions are removed by a cation exchange resin and bacteria and waste refuse are subsequently removed by hollow yarn membranes and successively passing mineralized water through activated carbon and a filter with a pore size of 0.1-1μm. A mineral water making apparatus consists of a cation exchange resin bed 1, hollow yarn membranes 2 through which the water passed through the cation exchange resin bed 1 is passed, a calcium-containing bed 3 through which the water passed through the hollow yarn membranes 2 is passed, an activated carbon bed 4 through which the water passed through the calcium-containing bed 3 is passed and a membrane filter 5 with a pore size of 0.1-1μm through which the water passed through the activated carbon bed 4 is passed.
